Teddy Bear Towers

These images were created while undertaking a Norwegian residency in Svalbard in 2018. The images play with our childhood memories of the teddy bear as a symbol for extinction. The wild beasts that once roam have been cruelly domesticated in this era of climate change.

These works explore the view notion of tourism through the Views of Mt Hjorthfellen and the juxtaposition of a cartoon effect polar bear encrouching on the view.
